There are many reasons why to use a pet travel agent. Whilst many things can be done by the owner, one must be aware that every country has different regulations. What might be required to say travel to the UK with pet from Hong Kong would be totally different if travelling from Macau to UK. Knowing to get the correct type of microchip, when implanted, dates of vaccinations administered, methods of flying etc.,  can be a huge minefield and a pet travel agent is there to assist and make sure the process is done correctly and your pet gets to its destination as smooth as possible.
